TERMS
Unless an approved credit account has been opened, goods will be dispatched upon settlement of a proforma invoice or cash on delivery. If a credit account has been opened, payment is due within 30 days of invoice date. Interest may be charged at a rate of 8% over UK base rate per month on any balance unpaid within the agreed credit period. We reserve the right to withhold any further orders whilst the overdue account remains unpaid.
In the event of a cheque being dishonoured at first presentation then a charge of £30 will be levied. We reserve the right to pass on any legal and/or other expenses incurred in the collection of the debt in the event of non-payment within the agreed credit period.
RETURNS
Returns to be made by prior arrangement and may be subject to a 10% handling charge as well as delivery charge. Please ensure a receipt is obtained for returned goods. Statutory rights concerning faulty goods remain unaffected.
PRICES
All orders are accepted subject to availability. Prices are subject to the ruling prices at the time of despatch and are subject to revision without prior notice.
PAYMENT
We accept Cheques, all major credit cards and BACs payments
VINTAGES
We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance of our obligations to you as a result of cause beyond our reasonable control, such as (but not limited to) strikes, lockouts or trade disputes.
SAMPLES
Please request samples when placing an order so that a discount of list price less 25% can be applied. Subject to prior agreement.
RISK AND OWNERSHIP
The risk in goods shall pass to the Purchaser on delivery. Property, title and ownership in all goods shall not pass to the Purchaser until such time as all sums of money owing by the Purchaser to A & A Wines has been paid in full. In the event of non-payment by the settlement date then the Company shall be entitled, in addition to other rights, to enter any premises where the goods may be and recover possession of them.
CLAIMS
All goods must be examined on delivery by a suitably authorised person and any loss or damage must be recorded on the delivery note at the time of delivery. Both the Company and the carriers must be advised in writing and by telephone by the next day. We regret that we can cannot accept responsibility for loss or defects caused to the goods or the packaging which occur after delivery due to unsatisfactory receipt, handling or incorrect storage.
