We at A&A Wines aim to provide you and your customers with hand selected, individually made, top quality wines from around the World, that are not generally seen in the supermarkets. From the humble grape to your customers table, we want to be with you every step of the way.
So where did we start?
A long time ago in 1984, three wine enthusiasts Andrew Bickerton, Andrew Connor and Stanley Cole, (now retired), sat on a train on the way to a wine fair in Bristol and discussed what a restaurant, and their customers, really wanted when it came to buying and drinking a wine...
More experienced, 27 years later and our values are based around the same principles, namely;
- Selling wine not generally available in the supermarket
- Wines which display the character of the region and wine maker
- Keeping up to date with the latest fashions and trends with wine drinkers
- That the bottle of wine would be as tasty as the food - why would the chef spend hours creating a dish only to be washed down with an ‘average’ mass produced bottle of plonk!
- Unlike many of the other ‘wine suppliers’ we don’t have unrealistic minimum quantities and you can even mix cases across the range... Why hold the stock when we can?!
- Give us a call, Invite us over for a chat, we’ll go through everything to match your menu or house style...! And even do your printing for you.
