strella Galicia's brewing masters present a new recipe with which they intend to accompany consumers over the coming months. The traditional Christmas Star evolves to present itself on this occasion as a winter Lager, warmer and more intense than on previous occasions.
The new Christmas Star uses in its elaboration the ingredients that are already a hallmark of the house, such as the hops Nugget 100% Galician and even, for the first time, toasted malt from the cultivation of barley in Galicia.
Luis Alvar,master brewer of Estrella Galicia,points out that "our goal was to turn our traditional Christmas Star and present a winter beer in which the nuances provided by hops and barley malt of Galician origin were respected to the maximum. We achieved this evolution under a traditional processing scheme, but incorporating the technique of whirlpool hopping with Nugget hops". -
