Cherry red with a ruby rim and red fruit overtones. It is smoky with hints of licorice. In the mouth, it is clean, tasty, fresh and balanced. It has a lengthy finish, both fruity and spicy. Leathery black plum and currant aromas include a note of vanilla on a primarily harmonious and familiar Rioja nose. This Crianza feels juicy and solid. Plum, wild berry and mild oak flavours finish steady and direct, with smooth tannins. The vanilla flavours of the oak provide a perfect foil for the warm plum and cherry fruit of the wine, resulting in lovely balance. A very tasty morsel! Spirits, Brandies & Cognac
Like wine, spirits (especially barrel-aged spirits) benefit from being kept out of sunlight and are best kept in cool conditions to help prevent evaporation.
Like wine, spirits can be stored in quite a range of humidity – around 50–80% relative humidity – and as long as that humidity is constant, the corks shouldn’t expand and contract, and the seal should last. However, the closer to 80% you get, the more likely corks – and labels – will be affected.
We suggest trying to find a happy medium for both wine and spirits to be stored in the same place, with a relative humidity of around 60–70%.
